From the moment I finished my first 5k road race at age 13, endurance events have been an essential part of my life. I have run the Boston Marathon, competed in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, and this year I am headed to Maui for the Xterra Off-road Triathlon World Championships. There are so many mental and physical benefits of exercise, and I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences with you. I coach athletes of all abilities who want to take their racing to the next level or finish their 1st race! A few successful athletes I have coached include Curt, who wanted to finish his first marathon in under 5 hours at age 50; Natali, who improved her best time by 8 minutes to a 3:17 at the Boston Marathon; and Devi, a first time off road triathlete.
There is more than one way to get to the finish line so I do not use a cookie cutter approach. I take an individual and collaborative approach with you based on your goals and daily life, accounting for your training/injury history, and any current life factors (current time to train, response to workouts, missed workouts, stress level, travel, sleep, and nutrition). Daily training updates are provided as needed to keep you on the path to the finish line! Let me do the work for you (except for the actual working out part, that is all you).
Contact me to see if we would be a good fit for one another.
P.S. My philosophy is pretty simple. Have fun. Train Hard. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Communicate with your coach. Believe in yourself. Fulfill your goals and dreams!
