Atif M. Malik, M.D., M.D. (H)
Natural Medicine Consultant

Dr. Atif Malik, MD MD(H) is a second generation homeopathic physician. He grew up appreciating the value of homeopathy through personal experience, independent study, and his paternal grandfather’s influence. Allopathic medicine, however, has always remained the first choice, because of Dr. Malik’s strong allopathic influence from his maternal grandfather: he was a member of the medical profession before the days of specialization. The scope of his practice was amazing: from eye surgery to delivering babies.

In college Dr. Malik continued his love of independent study as a Howard Hughes Fellow conducting novel research in molecular genetics. Although intrigued by modern medical advancements, as a medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Malik began to realize the limits of allopathic medicine, which spurred his curiosity of alternative forms of healing.

As a medical student, Dr. Malik was privileged to study at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital in the United Kingdom. There he was exposed to medical doctors (MDs) effectively integrating homeopathy and acupuncture in clinical medicine and research. It was a new concept, and one that Dr. Malik has continued to explore. As a resident physician in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Good Samaritan Regional Medicine Center in Phoenix, he studied medical acupuncture at the Helms Institute at UCLA.

Currently, Dr. Malik is double board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the state of Arizona Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners. Dr. Malik is licensed to practice homeopathy, herbal medicine, and acupuncture.

Dr. Malik is excited to offer private consulting services in medical acupuncture as the medical director of Malik M.D. Clinic LLC. With a strong focus on clinical medicine, education, and research, Malik MD Clinic LLC will serve as an invaluable regional resource. He encourages physicians and patients to contact him directly to personally discuss how he can assist them.
